Job Purpose:
•    Responsible for key and complex activities and accounts within the CMA team portfolio
•    To Support and back up the TL and Manager in the creation of the daily work plan
•    To guide and support the CMA Assistants and serve as a subject matter expert for key activities
•    To ensure accuracy while checking contracts, keying Vistex instructions(accruals) and processing invoices
•    To prioritise effectively, focusing on what adds the most value to changing business needs and minimise the impacts on the period end financials
•    To participate in all assigned reporting activities related to the day-to-day work or month end.

Key contributions

  • Deliver accounting close balance sheet and P&L reconciliations to the Commercial Finance team and support the further analysis and actions where required. 
  • Oversee and support the team’s daily workload of the input of keying instructions into SAP/Vistex on a weekly/periodic basis
  • Provide a high standard of service to both internal and external customers
  • Extract all SAP/Vistex Creates and Changes daily for the team and review/monitor the accrual results vs. expected and the teams analysis of their inputs 
  • Analyse accrual volume and value data and transactional trends by investment type, sub-channel and key account
  • Support team manager, IT, SSC and the BU with resolving system issues, as well as with system enhancements and automations as required
  • To regularly communicate to Sales & Finance the deadlines and status updates for submissions, authorisations and aged accrual responses
  • To routinely analyse lumpsum accruals and provide update for any under or over accruals at each month end, communicating regular forecasts and reasons for movement to CMA Manager and the BU
  • To oversee and support the team’s daily contracts workload
  • To authorise and post CMA payment requests using SAP Vistex on a timely basis
  • To regularly review the CMA Invoice Processing database and ensure that disputed or aged invoices are prioritised for review
  • To continuously improve the CMA processes
  • To ensure accuracy of month end processes
  • To analyse payment volume and value data and transactional trends by investment type, sub-channel and key account
  • To review CMA invoices and ensure OPEX payments are cross charged timely
  • To manage customer queries of indirect customers BACs payments
  • To analyse current trends of payments by sub-channel and key account, and feed analysis into monthly working capital forecast submissions
  • To support GB PPM in the investigation and resolution of post-audit claims and put processes in place to mitigate against future claims
  • To oversee P4P process
  • To oversee ORD process
  • To provide period analysis on payment releases and report on how this impacts the current/future P&L
  • Support management and cross-teams in proposing, reviewing and setting up system and process changes

Main Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or similar
  • CIMA or ACCA qualifications will be considered as advantage
  • Previous relevant experience of minimum 2 years in a Finance environment or a similar operation.
  • Ability to business partner and build strong relationships across functions
  • Previous supervisory experience would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of CCEP processes is an advantage
  • Fluency in English language
  • Analytical skills 
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills 
  • Knowledge of SAP systems highly desirable
  • Ability to challenge and question
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
