What is Coca Cola European Partners (CCEP)?

Data and analytics are increasingly important for CCEP, as new insights unlock growth opportunities and value for our business. To drive this strategy, we have appointed our first-ever Chief Data & Analytics Officer. Our progressive data strategy will drive more value out of the data we generate – or have access to through our brands, customers and partners – by swiftly transforming insights into action. This will make a difference to our business in areas such as Revenue Growth Management capabilities; delivering in-store execution; operating our supply chain; supporting our people and organisational development; and guiding us toward net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040.

What does the Data Architect Lead do?

  • The Data Architect is a significant role within the Data & Analytics team, who develops & delivers data models from our internal & external data of all types. And, these models are easily accessible and help to provide valuable insights for CCEP.
  • This is a central role to support all 3 existing CCEP consumption patterns of the Management Reporting, Citizen Analyst and Data Science.
  • It provides thought leadership to identify the relevant data sets, and uses the relevant data modelling techniques & methodologies to create CCEP data assets library.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the CCEP Data Reference Model in line with the CCEP business & data strategy.
  • Builds the CCEP enterprise data model by leveraging the existing meta, master and reference data models in collaboration with the business domain leads and data SMEs.
  • Develops and maintains the CRUD for the CCEP business object master data domains and the prioritised transactional data.
  • Create & maintains the Data Lifecycle Management for both the structured and unstructured data of the prioritised CCEP business object master data domains and prioritised transactional data.
  • Develops the logical cardinality between the CCEP core business object domains and creates the hierarchical & logical relationship Models for leveraging the CCEP data models across 3 data consumption patterns.
  • Develops framework for leveraging the IoT, Geospatial and Telemetric data and its usage within CCEP.
  • Owns the data management tools and enforces the data standards across the CCEP.

You can demonstrate experience in some of the following…

  • Belief and experience of data democratisation across the enterprise for delivering value and ROI on data
  • Ideally from a computer science or a data science background with focus on data management techniques.
  • Extensive experience in delivering the data models to support the data strategy and realise benefits from investment in data.
  • Thorough understanding and practical knowledge of the data analysis and structured techniques to produce data sets and data assets for the pragmatic usage for analysis & reporting.
  • Experience of managing a data management tools to create data asset libraries and maintaining data life cycle management.
  • Knowledge of availability of the data sets from the open market and open source which can be deployed to fast forward delivery to the CCEP business
  • Experience of implementing international data management standards and use of the Authoritative Data Sources (ADS) to build CCEP Reference Data.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of different technologies (Azure, GCP, SAP BW) and how they co-exist to create an Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, including the ability to convey data management concepts and value of data to wider population within CCEP.
  • Experience of working in an internationally dispersed organisation with diverse backgrounds and data literacy.
  • Building a network of relationship with relevant data providers.
